The platform is designed to handle a wide array of workloads, including AI vector search, OLTP, and analytics, with better performance than prior generations and competing systems.

Exadata X11M delivers significant performance enhancements across various workloads. In the realm of AI, the X11M achieves up to 55% faster AI vector searches by offloading these operations to intelligent Exadata storage. For OLTP workloads, the platform offers faster transaction processing, higher IOPS, and significantly reduced latency, outperforming cloud-based solutions like AWS and Azure SQL. In terms of analytics, the Exadata X11M provides up to 25% faster analytic query processing and improved I/O speeds due to faster flash reads. The claim made is much higher performance than native databases on hyperscaler clouds.
